This book can be used in every level in Samorost 3. It contains illustrated walkthroughs showing the player exactly what they must do in order to progress. However, to open the book, the player must first solve a simple two-part puzzle.

In order to open the book, players must solve a simple puzzle. It involves spinning three wheels in order to line up red dots. When this is done twice, the book opens.
